Voice
A polyphonic voice with envelope and filter that plays notes
Open in the synth with a demo patch Open ModularWhat it does
Voice is a complete synth voice with eight-note polyphony: two oscillators, a filter and an ADSR envelope. When a note arrives, the voice opens over Attack, falls during Decay to the Sustain level and, once the note ends, fades out over Release. Cutoff and Q set how bright the filter is, and Env→Cutoff lets the envelope open the filter too, so every note blooms a little at the start.

Try this
- For ambient pads set Attack to 1–2 s and Release to 5–8 s: notes will wash over each other and merge into a cloud.
- Sine, Attack 5 ms, Decay 0.4 s, Sustain 0 and Octave +1 make bells; add a Delay for a scatter of them.
- Patch an LFO → Cutoff so the tone of every note breathes slowly, independent of the envelope.
