Delay
An echo with feedback, tempo-synced or free
Open in the synth with a demo patch Open ModularWhat it does
Delay repeats the signal after a pause: it is an echo. Feedback sends the echo back to the input so you get many repeats; at 0.9 they take almost a minute to fade. Tone rolls off the highs on every repeat so the tail darkens like a tape delay, Mix balances the dry signal against the echoes, and Ping-pong bounces the repeats from left to right. Time can follow the tempo or be set by hand in milliseconds.

Try this
- Ping-pong at 3/8 with Feedback 0.6 is an ambient classic: short notes scatter into a rhythmic pattern over the grid.
- LFO → Time with a tiny amount of 0.03 adds a slight pitch wobble, like magnetic tape.
- Set Tone to 1500 Hz and Feedback to 0.85: every repeat is darker than the last and the tail drifts into fog.
