Slew
Cv cannot change faster than Rise and Fall allow
Open in the synth with a demo patch Open ModularWhat it does
Slew is a rate limiter for a control signal: steps become slopes, a square LFO a trapezoid. Rise and Fall are separate: fast up and slow down is an envelope out of anything, and S&H through Slew is a smooth random walk. It gives Note→CV portamento and Macro smooth hand-driven scene changes.
Try this
Pass sudden CV jumps through Slew so Filter moves smoothly instead.

Parameters
Rise · Fall
Try this
- S&H → Slew 0.3/0.3 → Filter: random values become a smooth drift.
- Square LFO → Slew with Rise 0.05 and Fall 2 — a "hit and long tail" envelope without an ADSR.
- Macro → Slew 1/1 → everything: one knob drives the patch smoothly however fast you turn it.
