Burst
One trigger becomes a run of N: rolls and ratchets
Open in the synth with a demo patch Open ModularWhat it does
Burst turns one event into several in a row: Count is how many, Division how fast (by tempo), Fade how much softer each next one is. It is the modular ratchet: a snare roll, a flam of two notes, a cascade of eight quickly fading plucks. Notes repeat at the same pitch, and each one is shortened so they do not smear.

Try this
- Chance 20 % → Burst 4 at 1/16 before a Drum: a roll every few bars.
- Burst 2 at 1/32 with fade 0.6 — a grace note on any note.
- Burst 8 at 1/32, fade 0.9 → String: a cascade melting into the reverb.
