What it does

Chorus blends the signal with slightly delayed copies of itself whose pitch gently wavers, as if one part were played by several performers. The result is wider, fuller and softer. Rate is the speed of the wavering, Depth its extent, Mix how much of the effect is in the blend.

Chorus after a sine Drone gives warm stereo width where there would otherwise be a flat point.
Rate 0.1 Hz with Depth 0.7 is a slow, wide sway, almost like a detuned organ.
