The mixer adds up to four audio signals into one, each with its own level knob. Without it you would have to feed sources into Output one at a time; with it you can build a balance: drone louder, bells quieter, noise barely audible. Its output is the natural place for shared effects: one Reverb for the whole patch.

Try this
- Keep the sum of the levels sensible: if the Output meter goes red, turn down the channels, not the master.
- One Mixer → Reverb → Output instead of a reverb per source: simpler, and it sounds more coherent.
