What it does

The Sequencer is a phrase of up to 32 steps played in a loop: every trigger moves to the next step and emits its note. Each step is an offset in semitones from the root, any step can be switched off for a rest, and Length shortens the cycle. Four banks A–D are four phrases: Chain sets their order (A B A C — verse, verse, chorus…). Step layers: Note, Velocity, Note length, Probability and a micro-shift against the grid — so the same phrase gets accents, legato and a living feel.

Try this

The "Prob" layer at 30–60 % on two or three steps: the phrase is a little different every round, yet recognisable.
The "Len" layer at 150–200 % on long notes and 30 % on short ones: legato and staccato in one phrase.
Chain A B A C with three different banks is already a form: two verses and two different choruses.
Switch off two or three steps: rests make the phrase breathe instead of running as an endless ribbon.
Length 7 against a Clock in a 4/4 bar means the phrase starts somewhere new every time round.
Sequencer → Chord → Voice turns a single line into a chord progression.
