Macro
One big knob that turns many parameters at once
Open in the synth with a demo patch Open ModularWhat it does
Macro is simply a knob that outputs its position as CV from 0 to 1. The point is the cables: connect the output to a dozen parameters, give each cable its own amount (negative ones too), and a single turn opens the filter, shortens the delay time and pushes the voice across the stereo field all at once. It is a knob for live performance, for when you want to move the whole patch with one gesture.

Parameters
Value
Try this
- Macro → Filter Cutoff at 0.6 and → Delay Time at −0.1: one turn opens the filter and shortens the echo.
- Macro → Pan Pan and → VCA Gain: the voice moves right and gets louder at the same time, as if it were approaching.
- Set Macro to 0 and slowly bring it to 1 while recording: a live build-up from a single knob.
