CV → Note
Any voltage becomes notes in a scale
Open in the synth with a demo patch Open ModularWhat it does
CV → Note is a voltage quantizer: it reads the input, maps it to a note from the Root within the Range and snaps it to the Scale. In "on trigger" mode the note is taken at the moment of an event at trig — like S&H, but already in the scale. In "on change" mode the module emits a note itself whenever the quantized pitch changes: a slow LFO becomes a melody, the Timeline a rising scale toward the climax, the Follower a melody out of the loudness of the microphone.

Root · Range · Scale · Mode · Note length
Try this
- Triangle LFO at 0.05 Hz → CV → Note "on change", range 12 — a scale up and back over 20 seconds.
- A smooth random LFO → CV → Note — a wandering melody that never jumps far.
- Clock → trig and any cv into in: an S&H whose output is already in the scale.
