Texture
A rain of sine drops, noise grains or clicks
Open in the synth with a demo patch Open ModularWhat it does
Texture generates random grains synthesized on the fly: Density is how many per second, Low and High note the range each grain takes its pitch from, Decay the grain length, Spread the stereo width. Colour: sine drops for rain and little bells, noise grains for wind and surf, clicks for record crackle. The density input adds cv to the density: the Timeline raises the rain toward the climax.

Colour · Density · Low note · High note · Decay · Spread · Level
Try this
- Sine, density 12, C6–C8, decay 0.15 → Reverb: rain on glass.
- Noise, density 3, C3–C5, decay 1.5 → low-pass: wind that breathes.
- Clicks, density 25, decay 0.02 at level 0.15 — vinyl dust under any pad.
