Final mix processing, peak control and WAV recording
Open in the synth with a demo patch Open ModularWhat it does
Connect the full mix or Audio File to IN, and OUT to Output. Input sets the level before processing. Low and High are shelf EQs. Threshold and Ratio control the compressor; Makeup boosts the level afterwards. Width 0 is mono and 1 preserves the original stereo. A stereo-linked limiter with 5 ms lookahead holds sample peaks at Ceiling; it does not measure intersample true peaks. Release controls gain recovery after limiting. Meters show actual RMS, sample peak and compressor/limiter gain reduction. Record WAV captures this module output for up to 10 minutes as 24-bit WAV. Stop · download finishes recording; the global Stop also finishes it. Clean output 1:1 disables further processing at Output and sets its level to 1. Restore Character mode in the Output inspector. Standard patch export includes mastering too; disable subsequent normalization to preserve the chosen ceiling.

Try this
- Mixer → Mastering → Output. For an existing recording: Audio File → Mastering → Output.
- Start with Gentle. Raise Makeup while watching the limiter: sustained heavy limiting reduces dynamics.
- Settings are saved in the patch; the recorded result downloads as a separate WAV.
