The time of day in the time zone that encompasses the eastern part of the Midwest and the East Coast of the United States, most of Ontario and Quebec and the eastern third of Nunavut in Canada from the first Sunday of November to the second Sunday of March, as well as Southampton Island in Nunavut year-round; it is four hours behind Coordinated Universal Time (UTC-4).
