Calque of Cantonese 你的樣子如何,你的命運也必如何 /你的样子如何,你的命运也必如何 (nei⁵ dik¹ joeng⁶ zi² jyu⁴ ho⁴, nei⁵ dik¹ ming⁶ wan⁶ jaa⁵ bit¹ jyu⁴ ho⁴, “And as thy face, so shall thy fate be”), modified from a verse in the Bible 你的日子如何,你的力量也必如何 (“And as thy days, so shall thy strength be”).
