- A coastal village in Aldringham cum Thorpe parish, East Suffolk district, Suffolk, England, previously in Suffolk Coastal district (OS grid ref TM4759).

Etymology
Originally Thorpe, recorded as Torp in 1086 (DB). Apparently most of the old village was lost to coastal erosion. The modern village of Thorpeness got its name around the early 20th century, with ness added. Thorpe Ness is a coastal feature near the village.
