Occasionally merely a typo for the intended word (segueing), but more often a misconstruction born of the fact that some people mispronounce segue as /siːɡ/ via a spelling pronunciation that misapprehends the word's spelling as being analogous to those of league, vague, or plague. When that source of the error is operative, the imagined pronunciations are */siːɡɪŋ/ for *seguing and */siːɡd/ for segued.
