  1. Medication that is a combination drug of at least four active ingredients; especially, one that is intended to be consumed widely, even by currently healthy individuals, as a means of preventive medicine.
  2. Any of a class of such pills for reduction of cardiovascular risk, some for primary prevention of cardiovascular disease in healthy people and some for secondary prevention (preventing strokes and heart attacks) in those who already have cardiovascular disease.
