monoidoid monoidoids

Etymology

monoid + -oid. A monoid can be viewed as a one-object category, so that a category can be viewed as the horizontal categorification of a monoid, but this almost-circular definition is mostly used as a joke, often associated with a view of category theory as overly abstract nonsense.
