Of, containing, or relating to martensite, a certain crystalline structure that can occur in steel under some conditions and can also occasionally occur naturally in meteoric matter or mineral veins.
Of or relating to a diffusionless transition of one crystal structure to another generated by coordinated atomic, ionic or molecular displacements over small distances (so named because first studied in martensite).
