Etymology

Borrowed from Japanese ロリコン (rorikon), a clipping of ロリータ・コンプレックス (“Lolita complex”), which is itself borrowed from English Lolita complex. The spelling lolicon, a hybrid of the English etymon and the Japanese romanization, is now the dominant form in English‐speaking otaku media fandom. By surface analysis, loli + -con.
