From New Latin isometria, from Ancient Greek ἰσομετρία (isometría), from ἰσο- (iso-) + -μετρία (-metría), from ἴσος (ísos, “equal”) and μέτρον (métron, “measurement”) + -ια (-ia, “-y”). Equivalent to iso- + -metry.
