  1. A type of loaded walk in which the sportsman squats somewhat and steps forward or backward with his knees alternatingly while optionally carrying a dumbbell or kettlebell on each side or a kettlebell or cupped dumbbell between the legs.
  2. A means of acceleration, moving with each foot turned 45 degrees from the forward position.
  3. A dance or dance move, popularised in the 1950s by Chuck Berry, in which the dancer steps forwards crouching on bended knees while keeping the back straight and head erect.
