A stratocratic Zaporozhian Cossack state established by Registered Cossacks in Dnieper Ukraine and located mostly in the region of Central Ukraine, as well as in parts of Belarus and southwestern Russia (at different points also incorporating the territories of the Zaporozhian Sich to the south), which existed between 1648 and 1764, although its administrative-judicial system persisted until 1781.
