The man is from Hanyu Pinyin romanization of Mandarin 倉頡 /仓颉 (Cāngjié). The input method is then named after legendary inventor of the Chinese writing system, historian Cangjie, the forementioned person, coined by General of the Republic of China, adopted son of President Chiang Kai-shek Chiang Wei-kuo in 1979.
