1. The west coast of the Bay of Fundy that was settled by French colonists to the colony of Acadia in New France of French North America; now part of the east coast of the Canadian province of New Brunswick.
2. The east coast of the Bay of Fundy that was settled by French colonists of the colony of eastern peninsular Acadia in New France of French North America; now part of the west coast of the Canadian province of Nova Scotia.
3. The coast of the Mississippi River in the French colony of Louisiana of New France in French North America, where the exiled Acadians settled after being expelled from Acadia by the British conquerors; now part of the U.S. state of Louisiana.
