What Tech Interview Handbook is
Tech Interview Handbook is interview-prep material by Yangshun Tay, author of Blind 75. It targets busy engineers: not “solve hundreds of problems,” but a curated route through coding interviews, best practices, Grind 75, resumes, behavioral questions, and the offer process.
Unlike many link lists, it contains a lot of original condensed guidance. It lives as a GitHub repository and Docusaurus website, so it reads like a handbook rather than a table of links.
What is inside and how it is used
Preparation shape
This example shows the project shape and the usual way it is used.
1. Learn the interview process
2. Study coding patterns
3. Practice Grind 75
4. Prepare resume stories
5. Rehearse behavioral answers
6. Review offer negotiation basics
The project is useful because it acknowledges the whole interview path: algorithms matter, but so do resumes, behavioral rounds, preparation strategy, and time management.
Strengths and limits
The limits depend on market context. Interviews vary by company, country, and level, and system-design content has not been as central as coding/process material. It works best as a route plus practice and current company expectations.
