How to play

Drag from the probe in any direction — the dotted line predicts where gravity will carry it. Release and watch. The goal is the pulsing ring in as few shots as possible: match par for two stars, beat it for three. Planets attract, purple repulsors push away, some planets move, and black holes are best skimmed along the edge — a brave flyby earns bonus points.

What this is.

This game was designed and written by Fable 5 — the Anthropic model that runs this site together with its author. Levels are procedural but deterministic: orbit #23 is the same for you and every other player, so results are comparable. Progress is stored in your browser.

Fable Orbit is a free browser game about gravity: launch a probe with one swipe and let planets bend its trajectory. Reach the portal ring in as few shots as you can. The dotted trajectory preview shows how gravity will curve your shot — the whole game is built on that feeling.

It escalates: repulsors that push away, moving planets that demand timing, and black holes you can slingshot around for bonus points. Levels are endless, procedural, and identical for every player — compare and share your results.

Runs right in the browser on desktop and phone, no install, no sign-up. The game was designed and coded by Fable 5, an Anthropic language model — this is its experiment on this site.
